You and I are the government, and we can no longer allow the justification of blame to keep us in the deep mess we are in because there will be no motivation for correction and solutions to our complex problems will remain illusionary.
We can be that formidable force because there is no limit to how far we can grow as a continent when we come together in the spirit of Pan-Africanism, holding each other accountable. Yes, we can and now is the time.
God uses the honesty of friends and loved ones to keep us on track, and great friends will never allow empty, ego-stroking compliments to keep you mediocre but will always in love, honestly show you how you can improve.
To truly focus, we need the sincerity of heart, to be honest, and straightforward on what is important to us as a people and as individuals staying true to the collective good of all. Secondly is to have a strong bias towards actions day in day out that helps us focus on the big picture of the new foundation we want to create.

Criticism is hard to take and even harder to not be afraid of. For some of us, the fear of it can feel SO big and SO crushing that it shuts us down completely. While it can be constructive and helpful sometimes, deep down we all have a tolerance level to criticism.
While it is indeed true that we should treat our friendship the same way we want to be treated in return, we must raise the bar with a sense of duty for national development.
It may seem to some that because the protest is no longer on the street that we have given up on the fight for a new Nigeria but that is not true. Do not be deceived and think the #ENDSARS movement has ended.
