Imagine with me for a moment that the sun only sets in your climes while other places never experienced sunset. How would you feel? I am sure you would not be happy. Why, then as humans, when we experience the goodness of others, want to hoard and not allow them to bless others?

I was told a story of a person who will regularly abuse the privilege of another kind-hearted human who would always go out of their way to support others. These people earn the same salaries and the same time of the month, but then one spends all of theirs and goes back to the other to still beg for theirs. The kind one has no problem with giving and is happy to share provided they have, but then the unkind person feels entitled to the kind person to the point they do not want the kind one to help others.  The sun needs to set in one place so it can rise at another location. It is time to let go of the entitlement mentality and allow the blessing of that kind person to reach others. Remind yourself that if another person had hoarded the benefits, it wouldn’t have come to you. The best way to get/receive is to let go and give.

For each time I have given, I noticed an abundance in multiple folds that I cannot explain and each time the humanity steps in to make me think I have little and for that reason not give, I stay at the same level and don’t grow. Trust me, it works and now is an excellent time to let go because we have all been blessed not for our sake alone but to bless others. Selah.
