2020 will go down in the history books as one of the years that tested the human race on different fronts not just individually but collectively. We have each been affected one way or another by the pandemic. No one would have thought the year to go the way we have witnessed so far. To everyone that has a dear one during this period, I pray God will comfort you. To those that have experienced loss in other ways, I pray that the remaining months of this year 2020 will be better than the previous 8 months for you. All that you have lost financially, health-wise, materially, emotionally, spiritually, and otherwise will be restored in ways that will leave your jaws dropping in awe.
It does not matter how dark the night gets, the day will always break and morning will come for as long as God permits. We all face our different struggles that will sometimes make you doubt yourself or think of yourself as a failure. Don’t allow that, struggling does not mean you are a failure. Just like the butterfly that needs to go through some form of struggle to push the liquid down to its wings as it gets out of the cocoon to become a butterfly, see your struggle as a phase.
A phase of growth provided you are taking actions and learning from your mistakes. The struggle is no stamp of failure but a stamp of encouragement to keep reaching for the light at the end of the tunnel. Joy is coming, keep paying the price on the right and principled track to your goals. Jesus for the joy set before Him endured the pain of the cross. Your current struggle is part of the night before morning comes.
Welcome to September and the last quarter of the year. It will be a quarter that you will remember for good. Don’t despair. Joy is coming.
